Triaging: marking as a "wish" since it's a (slightly rambly by now - "wishes"
plural? ☺) feature request and not a specific, focused software problem.
Actually you may find that the new button bindings in git master and in the
PPA give you some useful options. If it's something that's passed on to
MyPaint as a numbered button, you can bind one of a subset of actions to it.
Let me know what you think, and if that behaviour is a little more useful to
you.
