Follow-up Comment #9, bug #20293 (project mypaint):
FWIW, I can get both German translations of "save a scrap" on my system; the
one in the quit dialog and the one in the File menu. The quit dialog one
didn't seem to require any "#, fuzzy" tag removing, and since it doesn't have
a context either, that would seem to point to a gettext() issue on your
system: permissions on the .mo or its parent directories?
