Follow-up Comment #1:
Confirmed: Xfce4, Debian testing, Wacom Bamboo MTE-450 tablet.
* Can't reproduce it with the mouse.
* It happens also with tablet Ctrl-Button2 clicks, when <Control>Button2 is
bound as "pick color"
* After picking is complete, rest of GUI cannot be clicked or activated in any
way
* Drawing on the canvas is still possible. Mode switching is still possible.
* Even exit/save confirmation dialogs are affected.
* It's still possible to operate the GUI normally with the mouse.
Almost certainly, d6b60511a from Dec 6 2012 is to blame. There's something
fundamentally strange going on in the Stategroup code if attacking this
problem from both directions doesn't work.
