Follow-up Comment #1:
To some extent, the right-button menu is a standard feature. It would be nice
to have the options in the View menu, however.
Brush blend modes like Lock Alpha and Colorize are fairly esoteric. I'll see
what I can do about eraser mode, however. That probably should be more
available. Helpfully, the toolbar button works as a toggle.
What should be on by default? I think
* File handling
* Undo/Redo
* Edit modes
* Blend modes
* View (Main)
* View (Resetting)
* Subwindows
is a good set these days.
