Follow-up Comment #4, bug #20395 (project mypaint):
Well, if I just leave them there, the menu of backgrounds is very big. And I
might take more time to find the backgrounds that I like (some of which I made
myself), so I got rid of the ones that I'm never going to use anyway.
Also, it seems intuitive that if I can add backgrounds I like to the folder, I
should also be able to remove backgrounds I don't. And I could, save for one.
