Follow-up Comment #2:
Implemented in current git master (c1191b1), but a few options remain
unexplored:
* Do we need a "Custom" prefs item which allows you to enter colours and line
widths directly?
* Is the heaviest of the 3 circle cursors heavy enough for fancy high-res
displays?
* Are the mode icons for the crosshair cursor right?
