Details:
I've noticed that since moving to gtk3 many operations have become
unreasonably slow. I'll list them here (in follow-up comments, too) and add
whatever info else I can find. For now:
Color Picker (as bound to "R") is very unresponsive as in that pressing "R"
will not pick a color for a few seconds. The "pipette" appears, but only
disappears after a few seconds, picking the color under the cursor after that
delay. This happens every time.
