Cool, I just gotten that update as you mention that. Though that is sad
that GTK dropped that support cause that was pretty useful feature of
MyPaint, but I guess we all have to move on. ^^'

I Would agree with Joshua about this, after messing around with it for a
bit it seems a bit overwhelm to navigate it. I would suggest maybe
categorizing them in the same way they are ordered in the menu?

Lastly, I've forgotten to mentioned this earlier ,but the masking layer
effect is really useful. However could there be an option for the
background layer to not be masked out?

Overall, I really do thank you Andrew Chadwick for working on this project.
I've done so much artwork with this awesome tool! ^^
