Good plan for the footer bar, then. I like it.
I like the general 3 parts ( left, middle, right ) of the footer

I'm curious about the 'interactive brush setting' , and really like the
idea to plug on the footerbar a set of favorite brushes.
A footer-bar like this for sure will make me call dockers less often, and
profit of full width of my screen.

More vague plan: I also want to junk the dropdowns for brush and colour

I wouldn't be sad to see them gone. I don't like/use this dropdowns, I
prefer the buttons on top-right "toggling visible/hidden a dockers" when
those one re-appeared with the last position.
