Is there a tool, preferably open source, that can read database schema scripts (for lack of a better term) or connect to the database, and generate a diagram? This for a MySQL 5.x database.
I've been working with MySQL Workbench, and if I used it as a dumb device it was OK. As soon as I started adding foreign keys - BLOOM! BLOOM! - lines and labels everywhere. The schema code it generated need a lot of editing as well.
