The version of MySQL is 3.23,
the platform is Solaris, the language is English
Computer language. PHP? Perl? Python? Mysql command line tool?
Did the program performing the insert properly quote special characters? Did it check for sucess of the insert?
Useing Which language above?and the way I check whether data has been entered in the database or not is by running a select query on the database.
Was that of any help? I tried searching the net but couldn't find more information about what might be causing the problem...
Thanks, George
