Hi, I need to move my site to a host that supports PHP and MySQL. I found a nice deal that provides a lot of good stuff for an affordable price (sitelutions.com is offering 5 MySQL databases, PHP support, cgi, etc etc for $9.95/month).
There's only one problem--they don't allow you to edit the MySQL databases through a shell--you have to use a web-based control panel and phpMyAdmin. My problem is that I'm used to editing my MySQL databases through the shell, and I find the phpMyAdmin admin kind of confusing. I have two questions: 1. Was anyone out there in my position before, but then once you tried phpMyAdmin, you found that you liked it a lot? 2. Does anyone know of any better, or equal deals out there that also allow shell access?
