I am having trouble using the -h option in my setup of MySQL. If I use '-h localhost' in the command it will work, but my hostname on my box is tux. If i use '-h tux' for the hostname option, it will not work. I double checked my /etc/hosts and everything is as it should be there. Is there anything I am doing wrong? What should I do to be able to connect to it on my LAN?
