I understand that it's not recognised by default. Is there solution for using this ir receiver by changing/editing configuration files and loading required modules ?
-- Missing configuration for Philips OVU4003 IR receiver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/510014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mythbuntu Bug Team, which is subscribed to lirc in ubuntu. Status in “lirc” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: lirc After running 'sudo apt-get install lirc' on Karmic Koala, a list of remote controlls is diplayed. I have a Philips OVU4003, which is just an IR receiver, and is not listed. I installed lirc 0.8.6-0ubuntu2 I'm still trying to find out how to use it, but it seems that lirc does not support the idea of an IR receiver by default, just a combination of receiver and remote controll spec. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
