Marking invalid as this release isn't supported anymore. Can anyone
confirm that this issue is still present on a supported Mythbuntu/MythTV
release? If so, feel free to reopen.

'ontop Ubuntu' installed control-centre does not work with Karmic-

Bug description:
After Xubunbtu- 'Ontop Ubuntu'-installation when starting the v.0.22 CC there
is no connetion to mySQL nor can it read the mySQL.txt. (file has read+ for
group). MySQL seems to be just fine in the system.
Xubuntu 9.10 is an AMD64 alternative variant. (reason to use alternative sw
is having raid disks on the mythtv/music).
