Marking invalid as this release isn't supported anymore. Can anyone
confirm that this issue is still present on a supported Mythbuntu/MythTV
release? If so, feel free to reopen.

Resolution and panel changes not saved.
Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:

Bug description:
When I installed MythBuntu on my server (SuperMicro P8SCT), the
resolution came up as a default that was very high (1300 by
something). Also, the panel was not showing. So I created a panel
and adjusted the resolution, which was fine. But then each time I
reboot the panel fails to appear and the resolution resets to the
initial one.
