Is it perhaps one of these that causes the SQL command: UPDATE jobqueue SET status ... to be executed over 40 times per second while my shows are being flagged? I am only guessing that this is the source, but the same "0% complete" message is updated into the jobqueue rather too regularly :(
I have mysql logging all commands, and it goes mental in CVS of 30/Nov/2004.
Of course - replying to my own post - I think I had the patch reversed, so this patch would be slowing things down, and not speeding them up.
