Not trying to shoot your idea down or anything, but what's wrong with just
creating a "Favorites" recording group? Recording groups are separate
from categories so they aren't affected by them.
I don't like the filter aspect of the recording group. It's a WAF
thing. By filtering to a recgroup it would make it more difficult for
her/kids to get back to the view they are expecting to see if I forget
to change it back. Ultimately I think it'd be nice to have a
title/cateogry/recgroup option for the screen that could be toggled so
you can either view shows by title, category, or recording group where
the title list is now. Such a thing would be much more involved so this
is my compromise to myself for now :)
