yeah I did that too prior to messing around in linux.

libiec61883 will pick the first available communication channel its sees, 
usually 0.  If you run plugreport it will have channel=N.

I think so.  I dont know much about fixing this lower level stuff.  My 
DCT-6200 just worked.
