Yep, same results. In frontend log:

...but ff/rew seems to be working, if a bit choppy. The frames don't quite fill the screen while seeking; there is a blue band visible at the bottom of my picture until I resume playback. It was the same before the patch, the upshot being ff/rew no longer freezes. Using Xv here with tonight's CVS and Daniel's patch.
