Hi there!

This is the first of possible two patches. They are completely
seperate and has nothing in common expect being additions and
enhancing of the xmame part of MythGame.

I'd _really_ like it if someone were to just rip out all the configuration stuff in mythgame, and replace it with a text field that the enduser could
fill in. That way, there wouldn't be so many problems with version
compatability.

It would be nice if there was a way for the enduser to add more emulators. Perhaps something similar to the way multiple video cards are configured in mythtv-setup. One screen lists your emulators and has an option to add/delete entries, then each emulator could be handled on it's own screen/s. Then on each screen you could have a "dropdown list" that has presets for different emulators, and an option for a blank text field. Depending on which preset you choose you get different fields to fill in, or a text window that is already filled with default settings for you to edit. again this is pretty similar to the video card setup. Throw a name field at the top and you could run different versions of xmame if you felt like it, though i'm not sure how this would work from the enduser point of view. Perhaps by adding a emulator selector in the game information screen (the one you get pressing 'i' in the game list screen). I think it's easier for a Newb like myself to have the presets as it lets me not have to figure out which obscure switch to throw to get an emulator working. But then again it would be nice not to see so much cruft in the setup pages.
