Use browse mode or use the EPG. Channel surfing by hitting chan up/down
repeatedly is stupid on a Myth box.

when you press the up or down arrows to change to the next/previous
channel the OSD displays the current channel (for a brief period), changes
channel and then displays the new channel. given that you can find the
details of the current channel with "i" or "o" and also given that
changing channels will never be fast enough and also given that the OSD
can cause a lot of stuttering, would it make sense to not display the
current channel?
