I'm a happy user of Levon's excellent DBOX2 patch - but I thought it'd be
nicer if it grabbed the EPG selectively according to the contents of the
'useonairguide' column for each channel... so here it is. It's a bit of a
hack, but see what you think. I'm not quite up to the task of adding the
'use on air guide' checkbox to the channel editor screen, so I left that
well alone (for now)... If you want a particular dbox2 channel to be
skipped in the EPG grab, set the 'useonairguide' field in the channel
table to 0.
wouldn't it be easier (cleaner) to use the xmltvid field? If it's empty
use the DBox data, if not you can fill the epg using mythfilldatabase.
No need for an extra column.
