yea, this script was brought up, but it seems like a cleaner fix would be to support mutliple directories directly. there have also been recent issues with symlinked files and deleting shows. From a user perspective, LVM's are a tad tricky to safely and properly implement and don't allow for very good backup(or at least I've been told). I don't know how difficult it would be to include multiple directories to the backend, I think it should at least be given some more consideration.
