        An easy test hack is to just symlink the relevant
libraries into the current directory:

cd .osx-packager/src/myth-svn/mythtv/programs/mythbackend
ln -s ../../../../../build/lib/*
ln -s ../../libs/lib*/*.dylib .
mythbackend.app/Contents/MacOS/mythbeckend


Sorry about the many replies to this thread but...

I have looked into this a little. One problem that has cropped up with the other applications such as the jobqueue is that they expect things to be in their path. (ie jobqueue needs commflag and transcode to be in the path) On solution I have used is replacing the executable in the bundle with a shell script that sets the path to include the .app/Contents/MacOS directory, then start the executable. I also copy the transcode and commflag executables into the .app/Contents/MacOS directory.
