No, not really. It really is a personal desicion. It mostly depends on
how you view the DVD. If you see DVD as an extra, than the PVR is OK,
otherwise you should think twice.
I've read that some people have issues with playing DVDs and other non-TV
files through it.
It is tue that it is troublesome, but not insurmountable. Again how much
trouble do you want to accept?
