If you build the CVS version with an ebuild it should be easy to unmerge it later and install the standard mythtv version from portage. I know of at least one myhtv-cvs ebuild here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66337 . I also think I have seen other ebuilds posted to this mailing list or the mythtv-devel list. Search the archives. Read the comments in the link above and/or the general gentoo documentation for instructions on how to use your own ebuilds (PORTDIR_OVERLAY etc...) Regards, Petter
