I fixed the tuner / channel changing issue and have it working over vnc (without audio of course and choppy choppy choppy but it's not like I'm planning on using it like this, it was just a test). It seemed it was two issues. The tveeprom-ivtv module needed to be loaded instead of the standard tveeprom, and mythbackend was loading too soon, before ivtv got loaded.
Now I need to figure out both why ivtv doesn't load at boot, and how get the X over tv-out working!

Try changeing option "ivtv" to option "fbdev" in the x config I think it also needs to be /dev/fb1

Greetings,
I followed jarod's MythTV on FC3 guide.
After much tinkering I finally got X working over the TV-out for the pvr-350 running on a fully updated FC3 system. I found the fix for the tveeprom Error -19 that was occuring (adding the alias in modprobe.conf) but now X over pvr-350's tv-out no longer works after adding that alias.
I've also never been able to get it to recognize the cable signal (tuner0 / input type = 4) and be able to change channels, though it did seem to work piping S-video (svideo0 / input type 6 I think). I'm using coax cable from the wall that I know works (it works when I plug it into my tivo). The end result I'm after is to be able to replace my tivo with my mythtv box, and put another tuner card into it to be able to record 2 shows at once. Just getting it working with 1 tuner is the current goal.
I've done a bit of reading through the various online documentation and mailing lists, but I can't seem to get it quite right.
I'm using the following RPMs installed from atrpms:
