I'm using gentoo on a AMD Athlon XP 2800+. One major difference is that I have a pvr-350 and a pvr-250mce, so I get the benefit of h/w decoding via the pvr-350... When recording two channels and watching a third recording, my max cpu utilization is around 10%... Try running top or sar to figure out which processes are eating up your CPU time... -- Jeff Thompson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
