I have read all of the posts regarding:
RemoteFile::Read() errors as well as WriteBlock():Aborting
Most of the posts discuss:
Performance issues:
- DMA issues
- Networking issues
Most other similar issues are quite old...
I find it hard to believe to be a DMA issue. Watching recordings is
simply a read activity (from the hard disk perspective) on the backend
server.
I find it hard to believe to be a Networking issue since watching Live
TV has no issues....
I do not get any prebuffering pause messages, in fact everything is
great except I cannot watch a recorded program.
Any suggestions? Very frustrating since this should be rather
straightforward....
The only thing I can think of ... is that the Live TV has more code
around pausing, getting behind, etc. etc. whereas if you are watching a
recording (nuv file) any errors and you are popped out ....
