I have two machines. A backend with an ATI Rage128
and a frontend with an ATI Mach64. Until this evening
both were working great, except both showed the
recorded video previews with colors that made the
frames look like photo negatives, i.e. the wrong
colors. I added support for my r128 into my kernel
and that solved the problem for that machine,but the
other still seems to have the problem even after I
enabled support for Mach64 in its kernel.
I'd like to solve this minor problem, but in the long
term I am planning on trying mpeg acceleration using
an nvidia graphics card,is that an option? My mach64
myth frontend is only 400mhz so it's not quite
powerful enough for flawless video playback.
Any ideas?
