If you look in http://cvs.mythtv.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/mythtv/programs/mythbackend/, the changes that were made to playbacksock.cpp and mainserver.cpp on September 13 will fix the problem. They are only a couple of lines each.
I've got the myth store mounted on my xbox, but the frontend won't use it for some reason, maybe it needs to be mounted on the same path as on the backend or something.
