I've been using Slack 10 with kernel 2.6.9 on my Myth box for a good few
months now, it's the most stable myth box I've had.

Hardware:
Asus Pundit (Not R)
S-video TV out on integrated SiS card
Intel Celeron 2.0Ghz
512MB
PVR-350

Software:
Slackware 10
Linux 2.6.9
Ivtv 0.2
Lirc 0.7.0
Myth 0.16

I took detailed notes when I built the box, intending to put them up on
mythtv.info. However, due to time constraints I haven't had a chance yet.
Give me a shout if you think they'd help and I'll try to get them up.

Regards,
Tom Clark

Subject: Re: [mythtv-users] love Myth - trouble getting started with
Slackware10

I use slack 10.1 on both fe and be, using slapt-get to simplify getting
packages. I also compile whatever I need from source when it isn't available
in package form. I use fluxbox for a wm, and kdm for automatic log in to X.

Everything seems to be working for now. :)

Except mythweb seems to take its good sweet time to load pages, even when my
server load is almost nothing. Very annoying.
