The package set is incomplete and does not upgrade cleanly from the
0.16 packages included in KnoppMyth. The modules aren't included.
Some of the new features in 0.17 (like firewire support) were not
compiled into the 0.17 packages.

With a lot of effort it came up but then I added my firewire tuner and
the backend wouldn't come up anymore because that option hadn't been
compiled in (my logs suggested removing that tuner and trying again).
Since it is very important to me to have the firewire tuner, I'm going
to ditch Debian/KnoppMyth and start the whole thing over in FC3 (where
I'm much more comfortable dealing with shortcomings).
