Eric,

It's pretty simple.  There's a command you run on the 
backend side to "open up" mythconverg database to any 
frontends you wish to allow.  There's documentation on 
the mythtv site and Jarod's site.  

Then do a regular install on the frontend and don't start up 
the backend.  When you start up the front end, make sure 
you put in the ip address of the backend.

If you have any videos, make sure they are set up in the 
exact same location as are on your backend or when you 
scan that area for videos, it will wipe out all your IMDB 
lookups.  

Good luck, and let us know how the upgrade goes.  I'll 
probably upgrade mine next weekend when I get back 
from Quebec, CA.
