I had this problem. Sound in FC3, all volumes in Kmix all they way up, but no sound in myth. It was a result of not loading everything necessary in my modprobe.conf file. Are you using IVTV version 2? (or 0.2...not exactly sure what their versioning is). If so, see if these lines are in your /etc/modprobe.conf file:
alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv alias msp3400 msp3400-ivtv If not, add them. I added those near the top of my modprobe.conf, rebooted, and magically I had sound in myth. -Andy On Fri, 18 Feb 2005 22:20:02 -0500, Jonathan Link <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I've had some issues similar to this. > I have a PVR250, which I think is relevant to my situation, maybe > yours, but no one mentioned that was their capture card. > Restarting the backend after bootup would allow me to record sound to > my card.
