This is mentioned in my doc, though it should probably be placed somewhere 
more conspicuous.

Doc excerpt:

"Also note that Fedora Core 3 and later use HAL and udev, which as configured 
out of the box, break Myth's monitoring of optical drives for inserted discs, 
so to get it to work again, you need to change the line for your CD/DVD drive 
in /etc/fstab, altering the fstype from auto to iso9660 and add ",user" to 
the end of the mount options."
