Here is my problem. I just installed .17, I was using knoppmyth but
I switched because I wanted more options. I am running a pvr-250 off of
Jarods Guide. I get through everything and I goto reboot (after I
configured automatic startup) and it boots up with a box asking me for
my root PW to start 'backend &'. That is annoying but not really my
problem.
Ivtv also doesn't really seem to be working 100% for me. When I
first boot up ivtv doesn't seem to be loaded. I 'll /dev/video?' and it
doesn't come back with anything. I have to depmod and modprobe ivtv
every time I reboot. That sucks. I know I didn't have to do that
before (I used to run .14). Any help you guys can offer would be great.
One more strange thing. When I get ivtv running and I set up myth
to record 'x' channel it doesnt. It will record at the right time but
it will always be channel 3. Strange. I know I can change channels
because I can use ptune (?) in conjunction with mplayer to watch
anything else. Is this a myth problem or an ivtv problem.
