Yes, a DVI to HDMI cable will allow you to use your DVI out to drive your HDTV. I do this with my Hitachi. The hard part (and it can be VERY hard) is finding the right modeline settings to give you the best display possible with the least overscan. Powerstrip (a Windows app) will help you find the resolutions and timings that your monitor supports, and outputs modelines. But I found that the modelines generated will often give a VERY different picture on the Linux side of the equation. Patience and persistance is key. _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
