And my Athlon XP 1800 *almost* cuts the mustard. It handles 720p playback 
fine, stutters every now and again with 1080i content. Someone else has 
reported success with a 2100 and yeah, another with a 2400.

My HDTV-connected box is an Athlon XP 3200 though. Gotta have smooth OSD 
fades. ;-)
