I'm using the DVD-Special1 codec for both live tv viewing and recoding, as it give me the clearest picture. However, whenver I pause a show that i'm watching live, the timer showing how long it has been paused does not increment (it just sits at 0:00). Similarly, if I rewind live TV, it doesn't ever increment the timer showing how far back I've gone. It just always stays at 0:00. This is a pretty big problem, because if I rewind live TV, I can't fast forward or jump to get it back to live (or almost-live, I know there's a buffer). Similar behavior happens under DVD-Special2. But, under MPEG-PS I have no problems, and everything behaves as it should. I would just use MPEG-PS, but the video quality is quite a bit worse than the DVD-Special codecs. I have rebuilt my system looking to correct this (using a different kernel and newer version of IVTV), but to no avail. Anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?
System info: Distro: FC3 Kenel: 2.6.10-1.760_FC3 (also used on of the 2.6.9 versions) IVTV: 0.2.0-63_rc3e (have also used the 0.1.9 version) MythTV: 0.16 Thanks. -Andy
