Looking for the advice of people from more DVB advanced countries.
Our local cable provider now offers 40 digital channels. They offer a Nokia set-top box for 199 € that comes with a CAM card. No extra subscription is needed.
Would this just work if I put the the CAM card in a DVB-C pc card? Would it work with a DVD-C card without card? Are there limitations/things to make sure before I go out and buy a card?
I contacted the technical people over at the cable provider and they didn't think it would work (but they never tried).
Any insight would be welcome.
