I *tried* to use XvMC yesterday... but when I tried to watch TV I got the error message, "Error Initializing Video". Does Myth still need to be recompiled manually in order to support XvMC? Is there something else I need to do to get it up and running...?
No idea. I haven't had to compile it yet...
I'm SOOOO close.... so close. I can taste it... but I can't yet watch it!! :-D
I may have missed it, but what distribution are you running? I used the latest KnoppMyth, and it just worked. I had to tweak a couple of things, but aside from that it was pretty painless.
