I use 2 Avermedia 771's in my box with no problems. I can't tune SBS, but I don't get SBS anywhere in the house even on conventional TV's.
I found it difficult to set them up with a stock FC2 install (using Jarods guide) but the main problem was my lack of linux knowlegde. A linux savvy mate helped me and it is working fine now. I don't like the idea of HD yet. I don't have the horsepower, or the storage capacity for it at the moment. SD Digital looks great so I am happy. I am thinking of getting a third avermedia in the near future.
