Josh, mailing lists often add extra headers to every mail they process. These are the one that mythtv-users adds:
List-Id: Discussion about mythtv <mythtv-users.mythtv.org> List-Unsubscribe: <http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users>, <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List-Archive: <http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users> List-Post: <mailto:[email protected]> List-Help: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List-Subscribe: <http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users>, <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Some mail programs can read these extra headers and show you a link "Unsubscribe from list", "Get List Help", etc. This is what the original poster had in mind, I guess.
