this was the first thing I thought about.
I give it a quick try, but I only found docs, how to receive information
that a key is pressed on the server (where the lird is running). But I
do not found any notes what I have to send, so the lircd thinks a remote
control is used. At least not on the lircd site and using a quick search
on google.
So it was no problem to control my living room from my server, but this
was the wrong direction :-)

If someone has this docs, I will be happy to receive a hint were to get
them.
