You may be misunderstanding how the sound capture works. With BT8x8 cards (which I'm assuming you have) the sound is captured by connecting the audio-out of the tuner card to the line-in of the sound cards and ensuring that the device is able to capture/record that sound in the mixer settings. If your's does that and it's working then you're already home and hosed! The only time you can get away without a cable is if your BT8x8 card supports btaudio. Not many do but there are btaudio HOWTOs if your's does. NB - you must make sure that the audio you hear is the CAPTURED audio and not just a live audio feed from the broadcast signal to your sound card. You'll know if it's wrong because the audio will be 2-3 seconds in front of the video if you have set it up wrong. If this happens you need to read Jarod's URL I sent you and alter your mixer settings.
