I've just d/loaded 0.18 and compiled & installed but mythtv won't tune my Nova-t (tda10045).
I'm using gentoo 2.6.11-r3. The card works fine in other environments e.g bash-2.05b$ ./tzap "BBC ONE" using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' tuning to 641833330 Hz video pid 0x0258, audio pid 0x0259 status 00 | signal c8c8 | snr 9494 | ber 0001fffe | unc 00000000 | status 1f | signal c8c8 | snr fefe | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK status 1f | signal c8c8 | snr fefe | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK To build mythtv I ran the following $ configure --enable-dvb --enable-dvb-it $ make $ su # make install $ cd setup $ ./mythtv-setup and all is well upto the point where I scan for the channels and I get 2005-04-19 20:59:48.699 DVB#0 DVB SI Table Parser Started 2005-04-19 20:59:49.156 DVB#0 Using DVB card 0, with frontend Philips TDA10045HDVB-T. 2005-04-19 20:59:49.158 DVB#0 DVB Signal Monitor Starting 2005-04-19 20:59:49.820 DVB#0 DVB signal 9393 | snr 0 | ber 1fffe | unc 0 2005-04-19 20:59:50.822 DVB#0 DVB signal 9393 | snr 0 | ber 1fffe | unc 0 2005-04-19 20:59:51.895 DVB#0 DVB signal 9393 | snr 0 | ber 1fffe | unc 0 from mythtv-setup :( Does anyone have any idea what can be wrong? BTW I've tried setting a number of parameters in the initial tuning screen. In the past I've just entered the initial frequency of 641833330 (Sandy Heath) and all has been well.
