I got as far as getting FE_HAS_LOCK and then couldn't get dvbstream to play anything through mplayer. Anyway, as the signal seemed to be getting through the tuner card OK I decided to go and set up MythTV rather than spend time getting dvbstream working. That worked fine. I'm no expert, but I'd advise skipping the dvbstream bit - assume it's OK as you've got this far and get it configured in MythTV. That's what worked for me!
