I didn't think about that. I know my TV doesn't do any progressive scan
or fancy HDTV stuff though. So would I just change `ModeLine
"ATSC-480-60p" 23.94 640 664 736 760 480 482 488 525` to `ModeLine
"ATSC-480-60i" 23.94 640 664 736 760 480 482 488 525`? Didn't realize
how poor I was at this stuff until trying to do this MythTV box. ;) All
this help is appreciated.

I hereby retract most of my previous comments. I thought you were trying to get 480p component onto your TV. If you want 480i, change the modeline thusly:

Modeline "ATSC-480-60p" 23.94 640 664 736 760 480 482 488 525
to
Modeline "ATSC-480-60p" 11.97 640 664 736 760 480 482 488 525 interlace

The ATSC-480-60p is just a label... you can call it "CalvinBall" for all that X cares about... just so long as you use the same label later on when you define which you want to use. If you like you can change it to ATSC-480-60i in both places.

The [+-][hv]sync comments still migth apply (in addition to the 'interlace' flag).
